Sc MLT is a three-year paramedical degree course. The course aims in producing skilled allied health care workers. The curriculum is all about testing, diagnosing and analysing body fluids with modern laboratory types of equipment in a laboratory and submitting the report to the authority. They play a crucial role in helping doctors to conclude about a disease. 10+2 students of science stream can apply for this course. The candidate must have good analytical and research skills. The curriculum covers Human Physiology and anatomy, medical biochemistry, medical microbiology, computer application in lab, histopathology, haematology, bacteriology, immunology, mycology and virology. Job opportunities in this field are lab technician, lab manager, professor, biochemist, medical phlebotomist etc.
